Quartet Vol. 1 is the first album from the quartet of Seth Andrew Davis, Kyle Hutchins, Aaron Osborne, and Evan Verploegh. The group played for the first time on the inaugural “EMS Presents:” monthly series in July 2021 at Charlotte Street Foundation. A few weeks later, the group got together to record at Weights and Measure Soundlab in KCMO. The album features Davis on electric guitar & laptop/electronics, Hutchins on saxophones, Osborne on bass & electronics, and Verploegh on drums/percussion.
